Land Clearing Service Area: Williamson County, TX

Wilco Land Clearing is based around Liberty Hill and covers Williamson County and the immediate surrounding area. Terrain and typical lot size shift as you move across the county, so what a clearing job looks like changes from town to town. Here's the rundown by area.

Liberty Hill

Our home base, and where most of our jobs are. Liberty Hill sits right on the edge of the Hill Country, which means cedar breaks, rocky ridges, and creek-bottom hardwoods all show up within the same few square miles. It's also one of the fastest-growing parts of the county, so we see a steady mix of acreage owners clearing pasture and builders clearing raw lots for new subdivisions. Leander

Leander has denser residential development than Liberty Hill overall, but there's still plenty of acreage on the western edge closer to the Hill Country line, and infill lots inside city limits that need clearing before a build. Terrain tends to be a bit less rugged than Liberty Hill proper, though cedar cover is still heavy in the undeveloped pockets. A lot of our Leander calls come from homeowners on larger residential lots dealing with overgrown brush along fence lines and easements.

Georgetown

Georgetown covers a lot of ground, from dense suburban neighborhoods near I-35 to genuine ranch and acreage property further west and north toward the San Gabriel River. The western side, closer to the river and the edge of the Hill Country, has terrain and cedar density similar to Liberty Hill. Closer to town, jobs are more often smaller residential lots or commercial site prep ahead of new construction.

Hutto

Hutto sits on flatter Blackland Prairie terrain, which is a real contrast to the rockier ground further west. Brush and tree cover tend to be lighter here, and clearing jobs are more often tied to new residential development, lot prep for builders, or opening up agricultural land rather than dense cedar removal. Flatter ground and easier access generally mean lower per-acre costs than the western part of the county.

Burnet County Edge

We also cover properties just across the Williamson County line into Burnet County, particularly around the areas bordering Liberty Hill and the Cedar Park/Lake Travis side of the region. This is classic Hill Country terrain — rocky, cedar-heavy, and often with more elevation change than land further east.
